Lent at St Pauls

LENTEN REGULATIONS

Ash Wednesday is a day of fast (1 normal meal, 1 or 2 snacks to sustain strength) for all who are 18 through 59; and it is a day of abstinence from meat for all who are 14 and older.

All Fridays of Lent are also days of abstinence from meat throughout the Universal Church.

Make this your best Lent ever – generously pray, fast and give alms.

STATIONS & BENEDICTION

Fridays during Lent, beginning 16th Feb.

Stations start at 6.10pm, after 5.45pm Mass.

HOLY HOUR & ST JOSEPH DEVOTION

Every Wednesday: Adoration 6.15-7.15pm; confessions; devotions to St Joseph; simple Benediction. Come, rest in the Lord.

This Lent, what sacrifices will we make to follow Jesus’ three-part program of spiritual renewal – prayer, fasting and almsgiving?

Check out the various activities the parish offers this Lent, and choose one or more of them to assist you in growing spiritually this Lent. Unite yourself to Christ in His Sacrificial death for the world.
