Saturday 15 Aug – a holy day of obligation.

This is a HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION, which means, whichever day it falls on, Catholics are obliged to mark this liturgical feast by going to Mass.

As this feast falls on a Saturday morning, we will have two Masses – Vigil Mass: Friday 14th August at 5:45pm and Mass of the day on Saturday 15th August at 9am.

To fulfil your obligation, and not to confuse with the weekend Masses, you may do the following: if you usually attend the Sat 5:30pm Mass, attend the Vigil Mass on Friday 14th August at 5:45pm.  

If you  usually attend the Sun 9am Mass, attend Mass of the Day on Saturday 15th August at 9am.
