St Paul’s Youth Group

WHAT WE DO

St Paul’s Youth Group is a youth group especially for teens from Year 6 onwards.  It focuses on learning about our faith, and contributing to the parish and broader community, but still having a bit of fun. We will be attending the 5:45pm Mass then getting together for a program called CHOSEN.

After our initial sessions in 2021 were so well received, in 2022 we are running the sessions fortnightly, on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, recommencing on February 18th February.

The evening includes prayer, discussion, videos, games  and food!

CHOSEN

Produced by Ascension Press, Chosen: This is Your Catholic Faith is a journey through the entire Catholic faith in all its richness and vitality.

Chosen’s carefully designed methodology features highly effective and engaging material conveyed through videos, student workbooks, and classroom experience. Featuring twelve of the top youth experts in the Church today and filmed in more than 50 locations, Chosen is unlike any program available in the Church.

PARENTS

Parents, you’re part of the team.  Thank you for trusting us with your young ones – we promise to take good care of them.

We ask parents for support with that important element of the youth group evenings – the food.  Please let us know if you can contribute with this crucial mission!

Many thanks to those parents who supported us in 2021.

For those who have not attended before, feel free to contact us at any time for more details and to fill in the  consent forms.

DINNER ROSTER

Our heartfelt thanks to the parents who have already kindly supplied the delicious food.

On 4th March our young folk gave an overwhelming tick of aproval to the pumpkin canneloni cooked by Mrs McCavanagh.  One said they had never had cooked pumpkin before, and really enjoyed it!

Drop off and pick up – From a duty of care perspective, we need to ensure that each child leaves the premises with a parent or authorised guardian.  We ask that you please come into the Undercroft with your children, when you drop them off and when you pick them up, rather than leaving them or picking them up in the church carpark.  The youth group meetings conclude at 8pm, so please be on time, that way the leaders can pack up the Undercroft.
