The World Day of Prayer is an international, ecumenical Christian women’s initiative celebrated annually on the first Friday in March in over 170 countries. It unites people of various backgrounds under the motto “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action” to promote peace, justice, and solidarity. This year the focus is Nigeria.
